New York Academy for Dog Trainers currently offers two courses. Both courses are offered as Full Time and Part Time Apprenticeship style courses. Obviously Part Time takes longer. Part time apprenticeships are good for people who live within driving distance to us and need to continue their current jobs while learning to train.
3 week Remote Collar & Marketing course
This course is for someone who is already a trainer, and wants to take it to another level. This course will train and expose the student to different types of remote collar use so they can immediately apply it to their business.

12-16 week Trainers
Course
A challenging curriculum for professional and personal growth with a heavy emphasis on problem solving and utilizing a multi modal approach to the science of behavior and dog training.
- • Includes everything in the three week remote collar course
- • Comprehensive training course teaching you everything from the fundamentals of dog training all the way to advanced training.
- • Teaching clients in both private lessons and group classes.
- • All the major training methodologies.
- • Special attention to behavioral issues
- • Comprehensive business plan and marketing strategies.
